These are my published non-fiction books. They form the foundation of my writing, and also express my early thoughts about the environment, our relationship with it, and the social and political ideals that might develop from that. Given their academic and scientific format, the writing also helped frame my views on the need to be transparent about sources and facts, even in fiction. This is particularly the case given rapid developments in AI, the closing gap between fiction and creative non-fiction, and recent controversy around the veracity of some non-fiction books and also how fiction deals with controversial and contested issues.
